Pousada da Espera is located in front of the sea, on the most exclusive part of Praia de Itacimirim, on the Coqueiros Coast, Bahia’s northern Coast, Northeastern region of Brazil. Itacimirim is one of the places of the famous “Estrada do Coco” (BA 099) (Coconout Highway), marked by its simplicity and almost rustic aspect, conforming a paradisiacal scenery.
Iitacimirm shares its location with one of the largest sea turtle spawning area in Brazil. At Pousada da Espera is very common to watch sea turtles swimming very close to the beach.
Itacimirm also has sweet water lagoons which accompany the coastal design where it is possible to observe exotic birds, revealing a beautiful and well-preserved echosystem.
It is no coincidence that the sailor Amir Klink chose to stay in Itacimirim, when he concluded his crossing through the Atlantic in a rowing boat departing from Namibia in Africa.
