Bahia’s northern coast is a perfect area to foster land, aquatic and wind activities:

Land Activities: Motorbike rides, jeep tour, horseback riding ecological walks and bike rides.

Aquatic activities: Surf lessons, whale watching, (from July till October), canoe rides on regional rivers, snorkeling, diving, ocean fishing, catamaran rides, banana boat rides.

Wind Activities: panoramic flights and parasailing.

Or simply enjoying Pousada da Espera’s facilities, diving into the sea in front of the Pousada, eating and drinking, sun bathing and relaxing, relaxing with a therapeutic massage or simply observe the marine turtles swim in their natural habitat.

A program you can’t miss is to visit the Praia do Forte town, only 5 km away from Itacimirim where you will be able to: get to know the headquarters of Projeto TAMAR (aimed at preserving sea turtles), stroll in the picturesque town amidst well-known brand stores and handcrafts shops with a lot of interesting things to see and buy, visit the Garcia D’Avila Castle, which is a live document from the beginnings of Brazil’s colonization; enjoy the night life at Praia do Forte which has many different options of bars and restaurants with live music and many beautiful people.
